After last week’s draw against Brighton at home, Arsenal had to win the North London Derby away from home. It was a tough task for Mikel Arteta’s men. And, the home side turned up at the beginning of the game causing problems for the Gunners.

However, they were unable to break down the defence of the Gunners. Gabriel scored in the second half to give the Gunners the lead. And, they were able to defend that lead to secure three points from the North London Derby.

Let’s start the Arsenal player ratings vs Tottenham in the Premier League with the goalkeeper David Raya (8/10). The birthday boy was at his best this game as he made some crucial saves to keep Tottenham Hotspur at bay from getting the lead.

In the defence of Arsenal, Ben White (5/10)had a tough time against Son but was never really a problem for Arteta. William Saliba (8/10) was amazing as he made some crucial clearance even after getting booked initially in the game. Gabriel Magalhaes (9/10) is surely the Man of the Match for Arsenal as he scored the winner and also looked solid defensively. Jurrien Timber (6/10)had a tough time against Pedro Porro but he was up for his task.

As far as the midfield goes for the Gunners in this Arsenal vs Tottenham game, Jorginho (4/10) failed to surety to the midfield as Rice does but that was not a problem for the Gunners in this game. Thomas Partey (4/10) was disappointing in this game as he was reluctant to receive the ball in deep spaces. Bukayo Saka (6/10) didn’t play at his best in this game as the right midfielder but his crossing was immaculate. Gabriel Martinelli (6/10) should have scored early in the game and provided guile and speed going forward from the left.

When it comes to the forwards for Arsenal, Kai Haverts (5/10) was the target man most of the time but failed to deliver that cutting-edge finish that Arsenal needed. Leandro Trossard (7/10) was not playing at his usual position but he did a nice job as a creator and linking up the play with the midfielders.

For the substitutes, Gabriel Jesus (6/10) came on for Trossard and did a decent job. Raheem Sterling (6/10)made his Arsenal debut by coming on as a sub for Martinelli and did a good job. Ethan Nwaneri (NA/10) came on for Saka towards the end and did the job that Arteta wanted. The manager Mikel Arteta (7/10) failed to solve the midfield problem for the Gunners but still came out with three points and that is what matters in the end.
