Manchester City came back from behind to beat Brentford by 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Brentford took an early lead within the first 30 seconds in the game thanks to Wissa. However, Erling Haaland scored a brace to restore normalcy at the Etihad for the Premier League champions.

Let’s begin this Man City player ratings vs Brentford in the Premier League with the goalkeeper for the Citizens. Ederson (8/10) had a great game as he made some amazing saves to keep the Citizens in the game. He also provided a great assist for Haaland’s second goal.

In the defence of Manchester City, Kyle Walker (5/10) in the right-back position had a game to forget as he made some horrible passes and started the game slowly. John Stones (3/10) didn’t start the game well and looked off the pace when you think about his sharpness. Manuel Akanji (5/10) had a relatively better game but he was too far from his best game. The 19-year-old, Rico Lewis (6/10), was by far the best defender for the Citizens in this Man City vs Brentford game.

As far as the midfield goes for Manchester City, Mateo Kovacic (6/10) had a decent out as he was spreading the game well. Kevin De Bruyne (8/10) showed his class with immaculate passing and vision for the game.
