Last year’s PFA Young Player of The Year Eden Hazard has been absolutely brilliant for Chelsea this season. His scintillating performances have seen the Blues maintain a grip on first place since last August.

With the season drawing to a close, a new PFA Player of The Year must be chosen, and Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho believes that his Belgian ace should be the outright winner.
"“I think what he’s doing, speaking in a very honest way, it shouldn’t even be a debate.”“If somebody throws other names on the table, it’s because he wants to sell papers, wants to throw some sand into people’s eyes, because this player [Hazard] is by far the best player in the Premier League all season.”-Jose MourinhoSource: ESPNFC"
Hazard has scored 17 goals for the Blues thus far, already matching his tally from last season. In 30 premier League appearances, he has scored 12 times.
But it is not all about goals for the young superstar. His ability to break down defenses is unmatched in the league, no on else even comes close. He attacks with pace, trickery and flair, blowing past defenders like they aren’t even there.
He has also created the most chances in the league this season, with 86, but what’s really amazing is his durability. Despite being the most fouled player this season, he has been able to play every single game.

There are plenty of other fantastic performers in the Premier League this season. Harry Kane has been on fire for Tottenham, while Alexis Sanchez has been a revelation at Arsenal. Chelsea’s own Diego Costa has been prolific in front of goal, scoring 20 goals in all competitions.
Hazard though, is still a cut above them. He now has his manager’s backing, but he is solely focused on winning what could be his first of many Premier League titles with the Blues.
"“We are confident as a team – we are first in the Premier League and we are just taking it game after game.”“We played beautiful football in our last match against Stoke, and we deserved to score three or four, but the most important thing was the victory.”“We just want to bring the trophy back to Stamford Bridge.”-Eden HazardSource: Express UK"
Chelsea hold a seven-point lead above second placed Arsenal, who are set to take on Burnley on Saturday. Any points Burnley pick up from this match will do the Blues a huge favor, whilst they look ahead to their Sunday Match-up with Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
