Steven Gerrard is one of the Premier League’s greatest players ever. He’s also one of Liverpool’s greatest players ever. For him to not be included in the Premier League Hall Of Fame would’ve been so disappointing, honestly.
But we don’t need to talk about that. Gerrard has been included in the Premier League hall-of-fame. He is the seventh player to be included in the Premier League hall-of-fame, after Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, Frank Lampard and Dennis Bergkamp.
He was also the player that got the most votes in The Top Flight crew’s selection for the Premier League Hall of Fame inductees.
In retrospect, you could probably call him at least the greatest midfielder to never win the Premier League. But, that’s not to take anything away from the stellar career he had. He still won a host of other trophies, both with Liverpool and individually.
What trophies did Gerrard win with Liverpool? Which individual trophies did he pick up?
Gerrard lifted the FA Cup two times, the Football League Cup (now called the Carabao Cup) three times, the UEFA Champions League in 2004-05.

Gerrard also lifted quite a few individual trophies. He was the PFA Young Player Of The Year in 2001. He also won the PFA Players’ Player of the Year for his amazing 2005-06 campaign.
He was the Premier League Player of the month six times throughout his time with Liverpool, which is joint second-most, level with Harry Kane and behind only Sergio Aguero, who has seven.
He was the man of the match in the Champions League final of 2004-05. He was also included in the Premier League Team of the Season on six different occasions.
Gerrard scored 120 goals and assisted 92 more across 504 appearances in the Premier League. He also holds the record for most appearances as Liverpool captain in club history.
There are many more trophies that he won and records that he set, but it’ll be a very long article if I mention every single one.
Gerrard was truly a leader on and off the pitch. He was both a vocal leader and a leader by example.
There have been so many last-ditch tackles made by him, and so many clutch goals that he has scared to carry Liverpool to victory. His passing was almost always on point. His long rangers were one of the reasons for my constant head-scratching: How did he just do that?
I personally had a feeling for a long time that his career had gone underappreciated, even after seeing the number of trophies he lifted and the recognition he usually gets from Premier League fans all around the world.
But, I think this Hall-of-Fame induction puts that thought somewhat at peace. Gerrard simply deserves it. No two ways about it.
