Last season was an anomaly. Overall, Liverpool’s progress under Jurgen Klopp has been exceptional. They broke their Premier League hoodoo under the German manager and they added to their Champions League trophy cabinet. Not only this, but some exceptional players have prospered during the German’s time in charge, including Mane, Firmino, Salah, Trent and Alisson.

However, there has been some recent concern from the Liverpool fanbase that they would lose their exceptional coach. With the Germany managerial position up for question, the German fans would love to welcome Jurgen Klopp as the new international coach. Of course they would, as he’s the best German manager in the world.

However, thankfully for fans, Jurgen Klopp’s agent has finally spoken out about the rumours linking his client to the Germany post. As relayed by Fabrizio Romano on X, Marc Kosicke has reinstated that Klopp isn’t available for any international managerial position, since he has a contract he would like to honour.

I think that deep down, everybody knew this anyway. After all, it would be weird to see Klopp manage anywhere except Merseyside. Even thinking back to his Borussia Dortmund days seems weird now, that’s how much of a legacy he’s built at Anfield Stadium.

This season, Klopp’s aim is to get back into the Champions League. The most realistic way to do that is to win the Europa League, which I’m sure Klopp is aiming to do anyway. But failing that, the Premier League top four is up for grabs, given how the Reds have started this season.

Do you think Jurgen Klopp will ever leave Liverpool?
