Mesut Ozil’s solo-run goal against Ludogorets was one of the most phenomenal goals to be scored in football history.
Fans were left astonished by Ozil’s sublime touches on the ball and slaloming run towards goal. In the Champions League game at Ludogorets Arena, Arsenal beat the home side 2-3 on the night. It was the German’s worldly goal that secured the win and was the pick of the bunch.
Arsenal were on level terms with the Bulgarian side before the German broke their hearts in the 87th minute. Mohammad Elneny put the attacking midfielder one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

In an interview, the German international stated:
"I’m proud of quite a few of my goals but that one against Ludogorets was like on PES! Passing three or four opponents and then scoring. When I watch it, I think it was the best goal of my career. (Via: The Mirror)"
Despite seeing the goalkeeper off his line, Mesut Ozil didn’t try to shoot. He dummied the goalkeeper and was alone in front of the goal.
However, before rolling the ball over the line, he allowed the opposition defenders to make a last-ditch attempt to take the ball off him, giving the impression he overdid it.
The player made a mockery of the two defenders and scored it past them both, winning the game for his side.
