Gareth Southgate names his England Three Lions squad
The England boss has named his squad with some changes made, recalls named, and a questionable exclusion of Harvey Barnes as well.
After Matchday 8 of the English Premier League, we endure the second international break since the start of football for 2020/21. On Thursday, Gareth Southgate named his England squad with the surprising recall of Phil Foden since his shenanigans on his previous country duties.
Although, with this in mind, we will remember Foden did not act alone and was accompanied by his Manchester rival, Mason Greenwood. Sadly, there is no space for him, with the Three Lions manager opting for players who are unavailable due to suspension. I know, weird right?
As per Sky Sports, the red card duo of Harry Maguire and Reece James, who are serving suspensions, has been named in the squad. As per the manager, they want the Chelsea right-back to continue working with the squad, depicting his level as “a very high level” by the manager.

The player being recalled after a string of strong performances in his new role, Raheem Sterling of Manchester City. The forward has been put through the gauntlet with Pep, however, it has paid off for both the club and the player, who shown he can operate as a centre forward.
