Differential Picks

Marcus Rashford (MID, 9.5m, Crystal Palace at home)

Man United should start fresh this week and continue where they left off, dominating teams and smashing in goals for fun.

The partnership between Rashford and Martial has blossomed, aided by Greenwood and Bruno’s introduction to the starting XI. He is the least owned of their front 4, and is an easy swap from Son if you watched Spurs and decided you want to jump off that ship!

More from The Top Flight

This week Man United play Palace, who will be riding high after their win over Southampton, but equally rode their luck a few times. I feel they won’t come away from Old Trafford with the same feeling.

Rashford will be playing the same role as last year but is now classified as a mid, so more points per goal! That’s a win-win!

James Rodriguez (MID, 7.5m, West Brom at home)

Rodriguez slotted into the Everton side perfectly. He created plenty of chances (a shame they all went to Richarlison who hit the target with just 1 of 7 shots), and looked like the 7.5m price tag will be a severe undervaluation.

The fixture tracker doesn’t fancy Everton’s attack, but I might have to recalibrate that as West Brom, Crystal Palace and Brighton doesn’t look too difficult on paper. If they can carry on from Sunday then they will be a team to watch this year and one full of good cheap options for FPL!
