Brighton doing the transfer window right with them being two signings down already
Joel Veltman is an experienced defender with a lot left in the tank. If he can remain injury-free, he could work out to be one of the best signings this season.
The Netherlands man has been around for some time. He’s had his injury problems in the past, forcing him to be sidelined sometimes long periods at a go. But his time at Ajax has seen him gather some much-needed experience also at the highest level.

He was part of the Ajax team who nearly knocked Spurs out of the semi-finals of the Champions Leauge in 2018-19. Veltman and his team at the time nearly went all the way.
He has four Eredivisie titles with the Dutch outfit. At 28-years-old and only said to have paid about £900k for him, it represents brilliant business during difficult times. A winning mentality is being installed along with them being technically gifted.
A holding midfielder, a prolific goalscorer, and Graham Potter will be a tough Premier League unit to overcome.
Guardiola and Klopp have complimented the manager and his style he is trying to adapt at the South Coast club. So the work being done in the transfer market must match their work on the pitch.
