Brighton and Hove Albion, who come off the back of an emphatic win against Newcastle United, must continue their good run of form. However, it won’t get easier for Roberto De Zerbi as he prepares a trip to face Manchester United. With that being said, here’s my Brighton predicted lineup ahead of this important fixture.

In goal, Bart Verbruggen will continue his good run of form. He played well against Newcastle United, despite not keeping a clean sheet. He was a great ball-playing edition and Roberto De Zerbi’s equivalent to Andre Onana. He’ll be covered by the usual centre-back partnership of Lewis Dunk (who earned his second England cap this week) and Jan Paul van Hecke.

On the right-hand side of defence, it’ll be the brilliant Joel Veltman, who played well in his last match. On the left-hand side will obviously be Pervis Estupinan, who always provides an attacking threat so he’ll look to challenge Aaron Wan-Bissaka and potentially overlap Mitoma.

I don’t expect there to be any changes to the midfield pivot from Roberto De Zerbi. It was Pascal Gross and Billy Gilmour who were key to picking up the win in the last match and with no injuries, De Zerbi can pair them together once more. In terms of the attacking midfielder, it will once again be Joao Pedro, so an unchanged eleven so far.

On the right-hand side of the front three, it will be Solly March, who seems to be the unsung hero for Brighton and Hove Albion as he doesn’t get the credit he deserves. On the left, it will be the man who warrants all the credit he gets and that’s Kaoru Mitoma. With hat-trick hero Ferguson injured, it wouldn’t be the worst idea to consider an Ansu Fati debut as the striker.
