Chelsea and Liverpool fans need to start prepping for a Timo Werner transfer war with recent news confirming there is a striker replacement being lined up by RB Leipzig.

Just yesterday Red Bull GmbH, Ralf Rangnick, was reported saying whom he backs in the transfer to snatch the club’s star striker. Openly talking about it shows the club is resigned in losing their top scorer in the summer coming.

The Top Flight also reported there have been small whispers of Werner Bremen forward, Milot Rashica, coming in to fill the void. Move on a day, and additional talks of this surface once again, this time its Leipzig boss, Markus Krösche.

There were outlets proclaiming the German outfit has reached an agreement with their German counterparts for Milot said to be worth €20 million. However, Markus Krösche has responded to this and says it’s wide off the mark.

More from Chelsea

The Leipzig boss says he is an interesting player but there are others to look at before him. Well, this doesn’t exactly cast in stone, oh they’ve now confirmed they ready to let go of the 29-goal machine. What id does mean, Chelsea or Liverpool could be making room for a newcomer.

Timo Werner transparent on where he wants to land

The striker wants to settle in England but on the Merseyside shores. Werner has made it clear he wants to play under Jurgen Klopp and alongside his old partner in goal contribution, Naby Keita. However, the hold up is the Anfield side.

Nothing solid has come from Liverpool‘s end, with uncertainty still looming over major transfers coming in over the summer window. Because of this, Chelsea has been keeping close tabs on the situation and are waiting to jump in and snatch the goalscorer’s signature from under Liverpool’s nose.

"Chelsea will look to take advantage of Liverpool’s hesitancy over a move for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.Werner has made clear his ambition to play under Jurgen Klopp while even the Leipzig heir achy have suggested Anfield would be the ideal destination for him. However, recent reports claim that the Reds have asked for more time to decide whether to make a bid because of the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The bids for this man will heat up and probably get out of hand. Liverpool’s so-called financial restraints say otherwise and make it hard to predict what’s going to happen. Klopp and the Reds like to throw up a smokescreen and use misdirection during the transfer.

Come closer to the time just afore the opening of the window, and boom Liverpool signed a new player nobody knew they were in for.
