It was a long haul till this point but traversing to the end of the season will be an even longer and harder experience for Frank Lampard and Chelsea. [Chelsea’s season: P25: W12; 5D; 8L]

The turn of age from 2019 to 2020 has not been kind to Frank. He has only managed to win one game of the five played this year. In the mix of their one-game victory, there is a loss to Newcastle, a game throwing a huge spanner in the fight for top four.

Coming soon up after the visit from United is a trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Three points from one of these fixtures are vital to his maiden Premier League campaign. Hopefully the moral will be lifted after the amazing capture in the transfer world.

Unfortunately, this is only coming in the summer, and will not be able to aid them in their push this evening. They have acquired the services of Ajax winger, Hakim Ziyech. They must secure UCL for the incoming star.

Camp troubles

Tammy Abraham plays with injury concerns. A doubt to feature tonight. Frank will be hoping the young target man will be ready for at least 60 minutes of football. Let’s also hope Lampard sticks to his guns and continues with Willy Caballero in goal.

Will be surprised to see Kurt Zouma or Andreas Christensen on the field this evening. The two haven’t been as good as Englishman, Fikayo Tomori. Christian Pulisic is the saddest loss of this tie, in fact, he is the most disappointing of all signings of last year summer.
