Premier League: Liverpool leads while rest of the league takes digs at them
As the saying goes, “when you on top, there’s always those trying to pull you down”. A fitting saying for what’s going on at the moment for Klopp and his boys.
The FA Cup win spoke for itself. So Jose and all those who doubted Liverpool’s bright youth side can start praising them for delivering. The manager plus any first-team players not being involved was the main issue.
HIs young boys displayed they are still winners without his presence needed in the dugout. This is a prime example of how Klopp has been defying the odds since the start of the season.

The rest of the hate stems from Liverpool having one amazing season under Jurgen Klopp. VAR this and VAR that. If VAR was the cause of all six Man City’s losses, I’d understand. If VAR was the reason for Liverpool winning 24 of 25 games, I’d understand completely.
But the fact of the matter is 22 points clear at the top of the Premier League table doesn’t come from having every decision go in your favour. No, it comes from outplaying every opponent standing in your way of glory.
Pep did it with ease in his centurion season and was glorified for assembling the best Man City team in history as well as the best Premier League team ever assembled at the time of their marvellous run.
Why has Liverpool not received the same status from the footballing world? Why is it so hard to subdue to the fact, if Klopp continues on this run, this will be the best Liverpool team in history, as well as the best EPL squad ever constructed?
Double standing on the big stage is a real thing. The hate Liverpool receives is mostly because of envious feelings towards them. However, as said early, Klopp’s team will respond to hate in the best fashion possible, with positive results and great performances on the pitch.
