Almost the whole of the Premier League has taken their fair share of digs at the current leaders. Most notably, his biggest title rival, Pep Guardiola.

The weekend brought out the best, the worst, and the funny side of most managers. Of all the EPL bosses, Jose Mourinho stole the show with his touchline antics, which never ceases to capture us and give us a good old laugh.

Yet, it was Pep who showed his sore loser side after losing his sixth for the season. The manager made his frustrations known after their 2-0 defeat to Spurs in the final fixture of the weekend.

The Spaniard claimed the football world should be worried about the Reds and what they doing this season, but in the same breath talking how untouchable they’ve been all season.

Homing in on Man City’s centurion Premier League winning season, Pep feels it is only fair to criticise the Anfield side if they reach or overtake his 100-point record. How? Praise them but feel what they are doing is bad for football? Sour grapes don’t even begin to explain him.

"Two seasons ago there was the owner of the Premier League who said that could not happen again, it’s not good for the Premier League for City to win the title in that way, with 100 points. Now it’s Liverpool, you have to be concerned if you are the owner of the Premier League. (Via: theguardian.com)"

The next is Jose. His swipe was aimed at the ongoing debate of Liverpool fielding a youth team in their FA Cup replay. Was it disrespectful, was it not? Mourinho had his say on the matter.

"Jurgen Klopp is Jurgen Klopp. He does what he wants. He does what his board want him to do or allows him to do. He does what the rules allow him to do or does not allow him to do. He does what he wants. (via: football.london)"

This was put to bed by the youngsters themselves, after beating Shrewsbury at Anfield 1-0 in the return replay. Every word said in resistance to what Klopp felt he was respecting when taking their deserved break, would have been in vain now after the win.
