A couple of days ago Eden Hazard appeared to have bid the Chelsea fans farewell. Now move on some days and the news is Real Madrid will soon announce the arrival of their long-term target, Eden Hazard.

Third place finishers, Chelsea has been the headlines of all news outlets since the beginning of the 2018-19 season. Under the then new manager Maurizio Sarri, they accomplished their goal of returning to the Champions League.

The Stamford Bridge side holds a big chance to take silverware this season as they wait patiently for a Europa League Final that will also stand as a London derby when they face Arsenal. This will be the Blues second final of the season. They were sadly runners-up to Man City in the Carabao Cup.

Although, this hasn’t been the principal cause of their involvement in the headlines. What has been taking all the attention away from the club’s performances was the transfer ban handed to Chelsea by FIFA and Eden Hazard’s perpetual link to Real Madrid.

More from Chelsea

It seems the latter will become a reality soon

As recent as Monday, site expert Mahith Gamage released the story on Hazard, “Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has made a decision on his future“. This was not long after the Blues battle with Leicester City ended in a stalemate.

In his writeup, Mahith discussed what the goals were for the season and what Hazard needed to accomplish before he could move on from Stamford Bridge. He did everything he was supposed to.

Make UCL ahead of their rivals and attempt to capture a trophy in his final season (two finals reached this season). Hopefully, his last bit of action in blue will be fruitful for the club who now faces a one-year transfer banned.

"The truth is, Eden Hazard has achieved all that he can achieve at Chelsea, and his ability and age are both signs that are pointing toward a move to a greater club that can compete at a higher level. It is rumoured that Chelsea are asking for £100 million for Hazard, which is a fair sum for a player of his quality in this day and age. It has been scripted Chelsea and Real Madrid has a deal in place for the Belgian winger. The price is said to be in the region of  £87 million (€100m). The announcement will be made after the Europa League Final as per reports.

It is also said that Hazard has already reached personal terms with the Spanish outfit and he is ready to link up with legend and hero, Zinedine Zidane. At 28-years-old Hazard has a lot to offer Los Blancos.
