Eden Hazard has revealed that he has officially made a decision on his future within the last few weeks or so, and his club, Chelsea are already aware of it.

It’s been a long and successful 7 years for Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge. He came to the club as a boy with ridiculous potential, and has since grown into one of the best footballers on the planet. 2 league titles, and countless individual awards were added to his cabinet, but it now seems that his time at Chelsea is ticking down, with a dream move to Real Madrid waiting in the wings.

Eden Hazard has flirted with a move to Real Madrid for many years now, and it has never seemed closer to happening than it is right now. Eden Hazard has revealed this week that he has informed Chelsea of which club he wishes to play at next season. While this could have been simply Chelsea, it seems likely that he wishes to move to Real Madrid to play under Zidane and fill up the Ronaldo-sized hole in their squad which has never been mended.

"“Yes I have made my decision, but it is not just about me. Would I have liked it to be cleared up earlier in the season? Yes, I wanted that but that’s not happened. I’m still waiting like you are waiting and the fans are waiting.” – Eden Hazard when asked about his future"

This fiasco comes during an already tough period for Chelsea, who are facing a 1-year transfer ban, which could see the signing of a potential Hazard replacement become nothing but a dream. While the transfer ban does give the Blues more reason to keep Hazard, there is no point forcing an unhappy player to stay put, especially when he has done so much for the club.

The truth is, Eden Hazard has achieved all that he can achieve at Chelsea, and his ability and age are both signs that are pointing toward a move to a greater club that can compete at a higher level.

It is rumoured that Chelsea are asking for £100 million for Hazard, which is a fair sum for a player of his quality in this day and age.

While all signs point to Chelsea losing their talisman Eden Hazard this summer, they do still have a rather important match to play in a few weeks – the Europa League final against Arsenal. That could be Hazard’s final appearance in a Chelsea shirt, as he prepares to find out whether or not he gets the move of his dreams this summer.
