Belgium – Golden era needs to settle for being the bronze era. Too little in the latter stages caused heartache for them.

A team who set the pace during the group stages was Belgium. Not only did they top their group, but they also managed to lead the tournament as the top scorers with 19 goals.

More from England National Team

They topped their group and won convincingly during their knockout run. On the day where they met France (semifinals) – it was just the better team who won on the day. Martinez can only be proud of his team and how they reacted to stiff competition through the course of the event.

Taking into account the way Hazard and co has played throughout – they should be wiping the floor with England.

Roberto Martinez’s team news

It is said the Spaniard might look to swap and change personnel around for tomorrow’s match. According to the Mirror – Lukaku will start upfront but a change might be made to other positions in the forward line.

Thomas Meunier, who was missing from their crucial semifinal loss is back and ready to take up his place in the fullback position. Other than these few reports, Belgium are firing on all cylinders and are only making changes for rotational purposes.
