England – Relish this chance it might the only one they get before their next duel against their rivals.

Under the top scorers of the World Cup, the Three Lions ended second place in Group G. This was settled by one match on the final day of the group phase. A 1-0 ball game was enough to settle the tie, with Belgium showing England who’s the boss.

Out of the two countries, England will be looking forward to this one after this group failure. Well not really a failure, considering England took an easy route with no bad roads, and no difficult turns.

This stipulates the easy run that sees them here today in the World Cup Plate Final. Many could argue if they’d taken Martinez’s boys’ route, they’d not be here in this final. However, they did everything in their power and surpassed the predictable exit time, even though it was an easy way to Saint Petersburg stadium.

They must look to better their last showing against the Red Devils, if they’re to walk away with earned respect. That’s if you feel they didn’t do enough to earn your respect already.

Gareth Southgate’s team news

The manager can be happy he had a full squad at training. After a trio of injury scares reports came about – the whole English contingency trained together.

England’s difference between their loss against Belgium and now – they have their first eleven to choose from, and no follow-up match to worry about.

ALL LIONS BLAZING!
