As Man United brought on the pain against Stoke in Monday Night Football. News broke that neighbours Man City, pulled out the bidding war for winger, Alexis Sanchez.

Before this week, Sanchez was certainly, City bound and was happy to team up with his ex-manager, Pep Guardiola. However, the Spaniard’s club was unwilling to meet the asking price from Arsenal and played hardball until the announcement of them pulling out the deal.

City had every right to not make a pannick buy, after being held ransom for the Gunners to make a quick buck out the deal. Arsenal’s stance on Sanchez made it hard for City to get their key man, who looks like his transfer to the Old Trafford club, is just about complete, with nothing formerly confirmed by both clubs.

How Man United and Jose stole Man City’s man:

Man City was always ready to pay the Chilian’s wage bill, however, Man United started playing the game, ‘Our bank account  is bigger than yours’. Man City was only offering a cut price of £20 million and was willing to wait for the player – keeping in mind, he will be a free man in six months time.

United appear to be offering Alexis more than City and rumour has it – Man United, Arsenal, and the PLAYERS have all agreed in a switch deal. Mourinho has grown frustrated with playmaker, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and what’s him to head in the other direction over to the Emirates.

The deal is said to be struck at around £40 million and United are willing to include, a player plus that low fee, said to be agreed on. Difficult times for Wenger – if he is to get the midfielder in exchange for Sanchez, then it would be great business in my book.

Why this business has to take place, is Because of the Chilian’s desire to part ways with the Frenchman, once and for all. To sell to a rival has been the Gunners thing for years. Well players’ choices had a major part to play as well.

This transfer saga needs to end soon – I’m intrigued and excited to see these players at their new clubs – if true. Their talents are been wasted on the sideline, or at home.
