Having to choose between Lacazette and Giroud comes across as a criminal offence. Why Arsene Wenger never tries to use both these deadly strikers together still puzzles me.

Maybe Wenger’s gameplay and dynamics cannot allow for two up front, but he should try to get them to work together for Arsenal.

Since joining this season, Lacazette has been a breath of fresh air for the supporters. It’s games like Liverpool where Lacazette sat out for the start, that makes one question the manager’s tactics.

Giroud has a great goal scoring record against the Reds yes, but to be used over a player scoring 20 plus goals a season before, doesn’t sit well with many.

This is where the no sense of the using one or the other comes into play. Because there’s a choice to be made, which would be the best choice to make?

Both are able to fit the style of the Gunners, that’s a no brainer. But in this case, considering current form and the season prior to this, Lacazette is Arsenal’s best choice and shouldn’t be overlooked at all by the manager.

The number 9 [Lacazette] has a great reaction time, awareness on the pitch, and is a great goal scorer, both inside and outside the box. Wenger would be cutting off he’s nose to spite he’s face if he was to try and play a fixture without the French International, at the tip of the team.

A consistence run of games could see Lacazette work towards being one of, if not, the best signing of the season. All it takes, is for the manager to see this as well. That and try to get the two on the pitch together.
