Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic has been struggling in making an impact in their recent games. With Ramires out injured, the pair in midfield have no other replacements in their position. Signing Paul Pogba on transfer deadline day will rejuvenate the squad.

Juventus made it clear to Paul Pogba’s suitors that they will need to ditch out a club record fee in order to sign the French international. The initial reported price tag was in the region of £70 million.

However, it looks like Chelsea FC are willing to dish out £87 million to £100 million for the midfielder’s signature. If so, the signing would mark a world transfer record fee, surpassing Gareth Bale’s (£78 million) and Cristiano Ronaldo’s (£80 million) prices.
