This transfer rumor has been going on all summer long. Manchester United have settled with Sergio Romero, who signed with the Red Devils last month, as the no. 1 goalkeeper in the club. It looks like a deal for the 24-year-old Spaniard will be completed soon.

David De Gea is on his final year as a Manchester United player, after rejecting a contract extension with the club. Real Madrid are in pursuit of his signature with a reported fee of £30 million, almost double of the cost that brought him to Old Trafford from Atletico Madrid.

Surely if the talented goalkeeper joins with Los Blancos, he will earn a starting spot in the Spanish national team. If he can maintain his performance quality in Real Madrid, David De Gea will definitely succeed Iker Casillas in between the goalposts.
