Manchester United transfer news – Sven Mislintat eyes Old Trafford raid

New Ajax sporting director Sven Mislintat (formerly of Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund), has his eyes on raiding Manchester United this summer – according to Inside Futbol. He is yet to be unveiled as Ajax director but is working hard behind the scenes to craft a summer transfer strategy, much of which involves Manchester United. The most obvious name would be Donny van de Beek, who is better off from Old Trafford.

According to a summary from Football Fancast, Manchester United have “edged closer” to the signing of Alexis Mac Allister, who is thought to be on his way out of the Amex Stadium this summer. Although, the article cited Fabrizio Romano who believes that Chelsea securing Mauricio Pochettino could sway Mac Allister to his countryman Poch.

January loanee Marcel Sabitzer has heaped a tonne of praise onto Manchester United, claiming that “everything is bigger” at Manchester United than his parent club Bayern Munich – As per Team Talk.

It remains to be seen whether United will pursue Sabitzer in the summer as they do need to sign a midfielder. However, Sabitzer has done nothing to hinder his chances since he’s impressed when called upon.

The Top Flight reported earlier that Manchester United target Gabri Veiga would prefer to join Arsenal over any club. The attacking midfielder is subject to a lot of summer interest but out of any club in the world, he’d prefer to join Arsenal since he prefers the way they play football.
