Arsenal transfer news – Mikel Arteta wants to bring back Ismael Bennacer

A lot of people won’t know this but Ismael Bennacer, who is currently one of the best players at AC Milan, once played for Arsenal. That was until the midfield was sold by Arsene Wenger in 2017.

Since then he’s turned into a quality player and this is recognised by Mikel Arteta, who has made it his priority to bring him back to the Emirates Stadium, according to Competition. The Algerian source claims that Bennacer’s future is up in the air and there’s a strong possibility he’ll leave Milan this summer. Whether he fancies redeeming himself at his old club remains to be seen.

Arsenal transfer news – Gabri Veiga wants to work with Mikel Arteta

One of the biggest transfer sagas of this summer will be where Gabri Veiga ends up. He’s a player in hot demand, with many clubs including the biggest in the Premier League seeking to sign him.

Arsenal have been handed a significant boost in their pursuit, as Gabri Veiga is thought to be a huge advocate of the way the club play football. So much so, that AS have claimed that if Arsenal pursue Gabri Veiga, they’ll most likely sign him with the most ease.

Gabri Veiga plays as a natural #8, so signing him won’t affect the pursuit of Declan Rice or Moises Caicedo, who will play as a #6.
