Manchester United transfer news – Erik ten Hag names 3 Harry Kane alternatives

According to FourFourTwo, Erik ten Hag has named the 3 strikers he would like to sign if Harry Kane becomes impossible. Those three strikers are Randal Kolo Muani of Frankfurt, Tammy Abraham of Roma and Lisandro Martinez of Inter Milan.

This shortlist has been crafted since it looks less and less likely that Harry Kane will be allowed to leave Spurs in the summer, as they plan a big rebuild under a new manager. Even if he does leave, he’d probably prefer to join Mauricio Pochettino’s new club, which is most likely to be Chelsea at this point in time.

Manchester United transfer news – Jurrien Timber prefers Man City

Sport Bible have excellently reminded Manchester United fans of a previous interview with their transfer target Jurrien Timber. In this interview, the Ajax man outwardly stated that he would prefer to join Pep Guardiola at City. Awkward.

Manchester United transfer news – Contact made with Goncalo Inacio

Not only do the Red Devils need to sign a striker, but they need defensive acquisitions. Ideally a full-back and a centre back. This is because Harry Maguire is probably going to be sold, at least if the new owners at Old Trafford have any sense.

According to O Jogo (cited in Man Utd News), Manchester United have made contact with the representatives of Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio. It’s thought the club are willing to sell, but United would like to get in the good books of the player so personal terms become a breeze.
