Manchester United Summer’s exodus

A part of the large-scale change at the club is the exodus of plenty of players. Manchester United recently announced the release of 11 fielders (including academy and U-23 players) from the club.

The major Manchester United exits include:

  • Paul Pogba: The Frenchman is closing on a second return to Juventus despite open dialogues with Paris Saint-Germain
  • Edinson Cavani is intent on joining another European club despite interest from Serie A club Salernitana
  • Nemanja Matic: The Serbian has completed a move to AS Roma and rejoined Jose Mourinho
  • Juan Mata: Is weighing up his options, considering a move back to Spain or a new challenge in the MLS
  • Jesse Lingard: West Ham United and Newcastle United are following his situation closely and are eager to sign the United academy graduate

Among others in the present squad, a few are in the mix to make a move out of Old Trafford. Especially, Dean Henderson who is an option for Nottingham Forest.

The newly-promoted side wants to start life in the Premier League with the United shot-stopper between the sticks and is in talks for a loan with an option to buy for around £20m.
