FPL GW1 Captain Picks – The Premier League is Back!

#2 Bruno Fernandes vs Leeds United (H)
There has been much debate among FPL managers whether to go on the Bruno or BruNO path. Even the ones who are planning to go without him know full well what he is capable of and the damage that he can do in a fixture like this.
A fierce derby game like this is never easy but on paper, it just seems like this game has a lot of goals in it. While Leeds United improved a lot defensively towards the end of last season, much of their defensive solidarity was seen in home games.
They are still very much a team to target for captaincy when playing away from home, as pointed out by @BigManBakar here:
Leeds have also looked far from solid during their preseason and have been leaking goals for fun. They also look set to start the season without Diego Llorente, who sustained a knee injury against Real Betis.
With new signing Junior Firpo still settling into Bielsa’s high-demanding system, Bruno has serious haul potential against an unsettled Leeds backline.
