Everton – D

Everton are in a real odd spot, they have a decent squad and a strong manager in Rafael Benitez, so it’s hard to pinpoint what they need, other than a bit more quality.

Adding Andros Townsend and Demarai Grey could be good but doesn’t exactly excite and say that Everton will rise to where they want to be. The Blues have got rid of the right players, which is a positive.

Begging for a bit of jump out of your seat quality which matches the ambition, D.

Leeds United – B

Leeds looked a really good side at times in 2020/21 and will most likely continue on that trajectory. Holding down Jack Harrison and adding Junior Firpo to take over from Alioski, are really good acquisitions.

Also letting go of the weight from when they went up is good, as well as this Leeds continue to add for the future.

Can’t fault it, add a little more and it’s an A but really good from Leeds.

Leicester City – C

The additions of Boubakary Soumare and Patson Daka are really good ones, adding in Ryan Bertrand for depth is good too.

They got rid of a lot of the older lads but could do with a bit more in the forward areas, as they really lost form last year when the front group fell off.

Don’t need much more but won’t break the top four without it, C.

Liverpool – B

Losing Georginio Wijnaldum is a blow, but not one as big as some think. The addition of Ibrahima Konate is huge and exactly what was needed.

Liverpool remain a top side, need some more firepower up front but after fixing the hole at the back will no doubt be challenging again.

Really solid, add some more up front and we’re in business, B.
