Brighton and Hove Albion – E

Brighton have done the bare minimum so far, they have brought in one midfielder in Enock Mwepu, who could be a solid addition, but not enough to lift the side from the position they finished in last year.

Brighton have done well to get rid of some of their failed transfers from previous years though, with Davy Propper, Jose Izquierdo and Alireza Jahanbakash all leaving.

Brighton need to do a little more to improve at all, good job in removing some players but got to do more. They have also lost one of their defensive gems in Ben White, E.

Burnley – E

Burnley survived last season through Chris Wood’s excellent end-of-season form and the fact Sean Dyche knows how to organise a team. Dyche has made his displeasure at the lack of transfer funds known and that money remains to be seen.

They have brought in Nathan Collins who should help add some depth in defence, but they haven’t added anything through midfield and going forward. Should Dyche walk away, they would be in real trouble.

Burnley need to fix up, and soon, E.

Chelsea – B

Personally don’t believe Chelsea really need to bring in anyone and so far they have only brought in a youth player. The B grade comes from what Chelsea have let go really, Olivier Giroud and Victor Moses should leave and have but letting Fikayo Tomori and Marc Guehi go feels like a loss of potential.

Chelsea doesn’t need to do anything as their second-year stars will no doubt, but could have done with keeping hold of that youthful talent, B.

Crystal Palace – B

Fresh under the new guidance of Arsenal great Patrick Viera, Crystal Palace have disposed of a lot of waste and brought in some really good talent.

Adding Marc Guehi, who was exceptional for Swansea last year and Michael Olise, who could really blossom like Ebrechi Eze.

Really solid window from Palace so far, need a bit more, but looking good, B.
