England’s team news – What’s going on?

England will continue to be without Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, while goalkeeper Dean Henderson has departed too.

Aaron Ramsdale has filled in, but Jordan Pickford is expected to keep his place in the starting XI. Meanwhile, Jordan Henderson is fit for the game, but it remains to be seen if he gets picked or not.

More from England National Team

Midfielder Jack Grealish missed training on Tuesday and while he is expected to be in the squad, his contribution might come from the bench.

As far as Scotland are concerned, left-back Kieran Tierney is expected to return after missing the opening game due to a calf problem.

Scotland manager Steve Clarke might opt to make a few changes in the team which might see Southampton’s Che Adams coming into the starting XI after impressing in his cameo against the Czech Republic.
