Was it a good or bad season for Manchester United?

The Old Trafford outfit finished second in the Premier League standings after a lot of huffing and puffing.

The EPL giants signed Amad Diallo, Donny van de Beek, Facundo Pellestri, and Alex Telles from four different leagues during the summer and winter windows.

The best signings the club made was the Uruguayan talisman, Edinson Cavan. They brought him in on a free transfer.

More from Manchester United

United did not sign any of Ole’s first-choice targets. This and the lack of pre-season hurt the Red Devils in the opening stages of the season.

Despite all odds, the club finished second, one place above their last runout where they ended in third.

They too sat on top of the league at one stage but could not produce consistent performances, especially at home.

The lack of depth on the bench stopped them from contending for the title. Considering adversities and extremities, Manchester United had a good 2020/21 season.
