Manchester United best players for the season

Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw, and Edinson Cavani must be named. It was a complete team effort despite Manchester United’s reliance on individual brilliance in some games.

Talking about Fernandes, he broke Frank Lampard’s record of 28 goals in a single season. In the PL, Fernandes had a 30-goal involvement in 37 games.

Edinson Cavani broke the curse of the No 7 jersey, with his many astonishing performances. The 34-year-old defied all odds and survived in the Premier League at his veteran age.

He scored 10 goals, the most by a player who wore the No 7 jersey after Cristiano Ronaldo, in 26 appearances. He also scored six goals in the Europa League, which included a goal in the finals against Villareal.

Luke Shaw was a revelation for Solskjaer. The club signed Alex Telles to improve the quality on the left flank but Shaw took it personally. Not only was his defending top-notch, but he upped his tempo in attack as well.

The left-back has 6 G/A in 32 English top-flight appearances. Man United are looking to extend the player’s contract owing to his brilliant performances across all competitions.
