Chelsea’s legend Frank Lampard has been one of the players to be inducted into the Premier League’s Hall of Fame. It’s the first Chelsea player that has been inducted into the Hall Of fame, and there’s no other way I’d have it, if I were a Chelsea fan.

He joins Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer (who were the first two inductees), Eric Cantona and Roy Keane as the fifth hall of Famer.

This is the league’s highest individual honor, and it’s rightfully given to one of the best midfielders to have ever played in it.

Frank Lampard was truly a class act on and off the pitch. If you watched him play, you will definitely agree to this statement.

Which individual and team trophies did Frank Lampard collect during his time at Chelsea? What made him stand out?

He always did well and was one of the key figures that took Chelsea to the final of the Champions League in 2008, and one of the reasons why they lifted the Big-Eared trophy in 2012.

More from Chelsea

The Englishman lifted the Premier League title three times with Chelsea in 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2009-2010.

He also won the Player Of the season award in 2005 and collected a host of other individual honors. He has also scored the fifth-most goals in the Premier League history.

Lampard is said to be one of the best (if not the best) players in Chelsea’s history. He’s Chelsea’s all-time leading scorer, and is honestly one of the most enjoyable players I’ve ever had a chance to watch. He was so good with the ball and always had an eye for goal.

Scoring 177 goals while being a midfielder is no easy feat at all, but Lampard achieved it.

It’s one of the many testimonies to how good of a player he was, and the Premier League has recognized that. I’m glad that they have.

Lampard was also one of The Top Flight’s top picks for the Hall Of Fame Induction!

Frank Lampard as a coach has had his shortcomings, but as a player, he was one of the most complete footballers to ever play in the Premier League. He was just so good.
