This stat was aired before the loss to Newcastle, where they tried to fight back with 10 men on the pitch. Despite losing all three points to Steve Bruce’s Toons, he [Lingard] still gave his 1,788,806 new owners a return of eight points.

West Ham’s Lingard is the perfect FPL option

At the low cost of £6.6m, involved in almost every attack the Hammers conjure up, and also a guaranteed starter for David Moyes, he is one of the cheapest options and most sensible for a saving and an amazing point return.

Having a return of 89 points in only 10 games played since the start of the new year, he cannot be overlooked. If you do not own the Englishman yet, you need to get him on your team before his price tag rises.

The next three Premier League gameweeks West Ham will play a London derby against Chelsea, a struggling Burnley, and an inconsistent Everton. He is bound to gain some points in two of the next three fixtures.
