As the FPL season fast approaches, you’re probably looking around to see some of the best additions you could make for your teams. Chances are, you’re probably sick to death of reading the likes of Erling Haaland, Bukayo Saka and Trent Alexander-Arnold. These are obvious, and quite frankly rather expensive. But if you’re in a league with your mates, or you’re looking at the worldwide table, you’re going to want some FPL differentials in there.

3 FPL differentials for the 2023/24 season

This is where this article comes in handy, let’s take a look at my 3 FPL differentials for the 2023/24 season.

1. Yoanne Wissa

If, like me, you’re expecting Brentford to have a great season even without Ivan Toney, then Wissa is the guy to go for. At the time of writing this, Wissa only has a 3.8% selection rate and is priced at a reasonable 6.0m.

Of course, Mbuemo is the obvious Brentford choice but he is 0.5m more expensive than Wissa. Therefore, if you’re struggling for cash and are looking for FPL differentials, Wissa is the guy for you. With Toney out of the squad, I am predicting a lot of goal involvements for Wissa.

2. Son Heung-Min

Many people write Son off as he wasn’t the best FPL options last season, but he is a great differential in my eyes. Currently at only 5.5% ownership, he is worth having in your team if you have 9.0m to spare.

With Harry Kane likely jetting off to Bayern Munich (more on that here), Son is likely to be the main man for Spurs next season. What attracts me the most to Son is he’s one of the best goal scorers from midfield. Last season, even though it wasn’t his best, he still contributed to 10 goals and 6 assists. This season can only be better.

3. Ben Chilwell

Mauricio Pochettino LOVES attacking full-backs. The new Chelsea boss has also indicated that Chilwell is part of his plans for next season. Therefore, I would expect Chilwell to start most matches.

Chilwell is capable of coming up with goals and assists and Chelsea are due a much better season than last time out. At only 6.5% ownership and a reasonable price of 5.5m, Chilwell is a worthy differential.
