Rafael Leao: AC Milan wanting many millions from Everton and Wolves
AC Milan are willing to listen to offers for their striker Rafael Leao. However, they will only start listening to teams with an opening bid of £50m. Everton and Wolves linked heavily with the star youngster.
Rafael Leao has been linked with a move to the English Premier League long before making his switch to AC from Lille. They, however, signed him in 2019 for a reported fee of £25 million beating their competitors to the 21-year-old’s signature.
Move on a couple of years and the player is back in the rumour mill and this time, possibly on route to England’s top-flight or across country to Serie A rivals Juventus.

The in-form forward won’t come cheap and if any of the trio mentioned want him they will have to pay £50m. This is thanks to a career revival campaign in the Rossoneri’s impressive title charge.
He has contributed to 11 goals in 18 starts (23 Serie A games played this season) and this has given the Italians enough confidence to double what they paid him for.

Wolves and Everton links to AC Milan’s Rafael Leao
Whenever there is a young Portuguese star shining in one of Europe’s top five leagues be sure Wolverhampton Wanderers are in contention for him.
They will be looking for another backup for Raul Jimenez – seeing it will be tough to depend on the Mexican with a concussion injury as severe as he has suffered.
Also, Pedro Neto has been linked with multiple clubs in the Premier League and abroad. They could be on the hunt for a Neto replacement.
Manchester United are said to be keen on the Wolves’ forward if they manage to let another Jadon Sancho deal fall through in the summer window. He will be the first Sancho alternative.
Adding to the speculations, Willian Jose is looking less likely to stay having aided Wolves in nothing since joining on loan from Real Sociedad back in January.
Everton might pull out of the race for Leao. They appear to value him at £35m, £15m less than AC Milan’s appraisal. This might see them turn their attention elsewhere.
They want to sign big names such as Kalidou Koulibaly and will need to put most of their eggs in that basket if they are to prize one of the best centre-backs in the world away from Napoli.
