Mason Mount will be a massive miss for Gareth Southgate when his England side takes on Poland but he should be fine for the weekend when the English Premier League returns and Chelsea meets West Brom for the first game of the day.
The ever-involved Mason Mount gave Chelsea fans and FPL managers a massive scare following news he missed the national squad training ahead of their important Group I clash against Poland in their third and final World Cup Qualifier.
He was left out of Tuesday’s training but thankfully participated in some gym recovery work. This indicates he will be out for only a short while, missing no club action at all for now.

England has been in red hot form since their first qualifier and Mount has been one of the standout performers for Gareth Southgate.
The attacking midfielder has a goal and an assist to his name in 135 minutes of international football so far for 2021.
He will be missed for the Poland match
England has scored seven goals in their two opening wins of their Group I qualifiers. Of those Mount has been involved in two of them, which displays his importance and the impact he has for both club and country.
The Poland challenge coming on Wednesday night, which is also their last bit of international action until June, would have been the perfect confirmation for Mount in his hopes to make Southgate’s euro squad.
If he’d put in another great showing for the Three Lions, the England manager would have had his name penned down for the Euro 2020 squad this early on already.
Thomas Tuchel can wipe the sweat off his face knowing he will not lose one of his most influential players available for what is arguably the most important part of the season – the home stretch.
Since Tuchel took over from Frank Lampard, which was 14 games ago, Mason Mount has started 12 of them, with the other two coming on from the bench. He has contributed to five goals under the German.
It is clear to see he is one of the first names added to the starting XI at Stamford Bridge. This is a major boost that they do not lose him for a long period of time.
