Coming off of a January transfer window in which there weren’t many deals being pulled off, the potential is there for a huge summer transfer window. There are plenty of big-name stars that are being linked with moves to big Premier League clubs.

With more money to spend, there is good reason to believe Premier League clubs will be looking to add quality to their squads. So who are the biggest names that could be moving to the EPL in the summer transfer window?

Erling Haaland

More from Premier League

This is the most hotly contested transfer battle in recent memory. Every top club from every top league in Europe will be in hot pursuit of Haaland.

But there could be a trio of Premier League clubs ahead in the race. Manchester United, Liverpool, and Manchester City are all in need of a striker and there is reportedly mutual interest.

United and Liverpool may be more likely to win Haaland’s signature in the end as they have fallen behind Manchester City in the Premier League title race this season.

They will both surely be looking to make a big-time move to jump-start their next Premier League campaigns.

Recent reports rule out Chelsea with the forward suggesting he wants to join a bigger club than the Blues.

Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe has officially cemented himself as one of the best players in the entire world. With that sort of reputation, endless transfer links will follow.

As every club in the world could use a player of his quality, will this be the transfer window where he makes his move away from PSG? The teams that are most likely to target Mbappe are basically the same as with Haaland.

It would take an enormous sum of money to pry him away from PSG. But at the same time, Mbappe hasn’t done anything to quell the transfer rumors.

With him stalling on a contract extension with the Parisians it’s definitely possible that he sees a future away from Ligue 1 this summer.

Jadon Sancho

The second Borussia Dortmund player to feature on this list is Jadon Sancho. He had been heavily linked with Manchester United over the past year but never ended up making a move away.

As he has stayed in great form in the Bundesliga, there will be Premier League clubs that come knocking again in the summer. The latest coming from Old Trafford, they look like they will go back in for the winger.

With this being said, Manchester United and Liverpool seem to be the most likely teams to give chase. However, don’t count out teams such as Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham.

All 3 of these teams could be looking for a superstar caliber player to add in the next window. Dortmund have also made it public, they might be forced into selling some of their top stars owing to the pandemic.
