Bukayo Saka: No disputing Arsenal’s Player of the Month for January
No surprise as Bukayo Saka gets voted Arsenal’s best player for the start of the year. Week in and out he improves and put in some outstanding performances for them.
One of the players regarded as one of England’s generational talents has certainly put his stamp on the Premier League. It’s almost safe to say the way the young Gunner has applied his trade, the club is almost dependent on him to come up with the goods.
He is their go-to-guy for goals and assists now. The player has already surpassed last season’s goal contribution of six (1 goal; 5 assists) by one and this season he has scored more than he supplied. He has scored 5 and assisted a further 2 goals for his club – and looks far from done.
This he has accomplished in 20 Premier League appearances, 19 of them being starts. This is also his second time in as many months he has received the Arsenal accolade.

Bukayo Saka sits above Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal
The tables have turned a bit at the Emirates. Aubameyang, who is normally the club’s most influential player in front of goal, is actually third in goal contribution this season.
A contract extension has seen him showcase his worst in a Gunners jersey. Saka, for the time being, pips Aubameyang by 1 more assist with both players scoring five for the campaign thus far.
Surprisingly it the Frenchman, Alexandre Lacazette, who leads the race for the highest goal contribution this season. The striker has 8 goals and 2 assists to his name.
