Valencia to sign Patrick Cutrone from Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan
By Varun Aithal
After finishing the previous season on high by securing seventh place on the Premier League table, fans expected the spirited Wolverhampton Wanderers to make some advances this season.
The club has wistfully failed to make an impact in the ongoing campaign as they find themselves in 14th place. The poor display can directly be attributed to the absence of their talismanic striker, Raul Jimenez.
Despite lacking the firepower in the attacking department, Wolves will loan out Patrick Cutrone to Valencia on deadline day. According to recent reports, Wolves are sending the Italian international on a short loan until the end of the season.
In order to compensate for the departure of the player, the Premier League outfit has acquired the services of Willian Jose from Real Sociedad. Willian Jose made his Premier League debut against Chelsea in their midweek EPL clash.

It has been a tough run for Wolves’ Patrick Cutrone
Patrick Cutrone was recalled by his parent club after an unsuccessful loan spell in the Serie A with Fiorentina. He featured only 196 minutes for the Serie A outfit and fired blanks for them.
With Raul Jimenez ruled out for the most part of the season, Wolves had to recall him from his loan spell. However, it never really kicked off for the player with Cutrone playing just 105 minutes for Wolves across all competitions. Throughout this time, Cutrone has just one assist to his name.
After the defeat against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Nuno Espirito Santo hinted at the departure of the Italian recruit.
He said:
"I cannot say too much until things are done and clear, but I’m not going to lie to you, I hope that things are almost solved. He will probably join Valencia until the end of the season(Via: Birmingham Live)"
The forward joined the Premier League outfit in a deal worth €22 million from AC Milan. Since his arrival at Molineux, he has played only 24 games and has 4 G/A to his name.
The player has failed to live up to the hype in England and has remained a concern for the PL outfit. It will be interesting to see how the club’s management handles the situation in the summer transfer window.
