Liverpool dealt another injury blow with Sadio Mane the latest loss
Liverpool are only a couple of injuries away from having almost their entire first-team on the doctor’s table. Sadio Mane, the latest to be excluded due to injury.
Liverpool’s game against West Ham had to go on without the influential winger, Sadio Mane. He was left out of the matchday squad to take on the Hammers (currently underway at the London Stadium at the time of writing this).
Prior to kickoff and in Jurgen Klopp’s pre-match talks he confirmed he is out injured and will miss only the Hammers matchup for now.

He has fallen victim to the same/similar problem that has seen key figure Fabinho miss back-to-back games for the Reds – A slight muscle problem.
The manager did follow in saying that is not that serious and this decision is to give him some more time off, same goes for Roberto Firmino – who made the Liverpool bench for the West Ham encounter.
The Reds’ boss explained that from losing Mane to this specific problem, he was forced to make a decision on Bobby – the break between matches has taken a massive toll on Liverpool in their defending campaign.
Mane will be missed following his massive impact and the key role he played in the Spurs victory midweek. He scored the third goal which was the final nail in Tottenham’s coffin. Besides this, he was the most energetic of the lot.
Klopp has not been the only manager to complain up the busy fixture schedule. Pep Guardiola has backed his mate and title rival in the matter. Guardiola has just lost Kevin de Bruyne to a hamstring injury, some the City manager blames on the congested fixture list.
Hopefully, we will see both world-class players back in action at the earliest possible time as the league heats up.
