Liverpool: Mohamed Salah is still happy with Anfield being called his home
Mohamed Salah is perfectly happy at Liverpool and a move abroad is the last thing on his agenda. When the summer transfer window opens, however, things could change drastically.
Liverpool’s star winger, Mo Salah, has been the subject of a transfer out of Anfield for some time now. Real Madrid was said to be extremely interested in bringing the player to Spain to work under manager Zidane.
Adding fuel to the fire, Mo’s dip in form, body language on the pitch and talks outside of the club caused a massive stir. It was believed the player was not happy at the club and a move out of Merseyside would be the best option for him when summer comes.
However, in an interview conducted by Anfield Watch with the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, all became clearer for Reds who were monitoring the situation very closely.

Romano made some good points when talking on the situation. He stated the power is in his [Salah] own hands and the club would not be in control of a transfer when a footballer of his calibre is in discussion – it is always on the superstar and what challenge he wants next.
He went on and added, Mo is very happy working with the Merseyside outfit and is happy in the state of Liverpool, England – as well as having no plans whatsoever to leave for a new venture. He wants to win everything with the champions before making career-changing decisions.

Liverpool and Mo Salah returned back to winning ways
The Reds scored their first three Premier League goals of 2021 on Thursday when they bounced back to winning ways against top-four challengers, Spurs. The final score was 1-3 to the Reds but could have been a lot more if it wasn’t for a few disallowed goals – Salah’s being one them.
He did, however, score a brace over the FA Cup weekend in their loss to old foes Manchester United. His only other goal for 2021 came in the FA Cup third round against Aston Villa prior to their fourth-round exit.
Hopefully, the win against Spurs was the catalyst to get their season back on track. They have cut down the point gap between them and their title rivals. So they are on the right track.
