Paul Pogba’s Manchester United tale might be over after the Premier League season concludes. All reports still point in the direction of an Old Trafford exit.

Adding to the summer exit rumors, CaughtOffside spoke to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on the Frenchman’s situation at Man United, citing the club turned down a host of players offered to them by the Old Lady.

Juventus came out earlier in the season speaking of their ex-player and how his return to the club will be the club’s biggest priority.

"According to Fabrizio Romano, who told CaughtOffside that United were not keen on a swap deal last summer, turning down Miralem Pjanic, Aaron Ramsey, Douglas Costa and Adrien Rabiot in exchange for Pogba. (Via: CaughtOffside)"

Paul Pogba’s departure has been on the cards since November’s agent outburst?

More from Transfers and Rumors

The above-mentioned coupled with his agent’s public announcement last year November gives the impression there will be no United stay for the Frenchman. The fans were against Pogba after the player remained silent over his agent’s comments on his future.

Mino Raiola said it is all over for the player at Old Trafford and that he will leave the club at the earliest. He also opined that the player is unhappy at Manchester United and requires a different challenge in his career.

When the fans thought that the Frenchman will be gone, the player allowed his performance to talk for him. Despite rumors circulating regarding his potential move to Juventus and Real Madrid, the midfielder remained content and started to produce week in and week out.

The player redeemed himself with a stupendous long-range effort against West Ham United. Since the wonder strike, there has been no looking back for the player. He has scored three goals in 14 games across all competitions.

Not only has he featured in a central role in midfield but he has also featured on the wings. In other words, Paul Pogba has bossed the midfield for Manchester United in recent weeks.

Recently, Rio Ferdinand interviewed the World Cup winner. During the interview, the player mentioned that he is happy at the Theatre of Dreams and hinted at a possible contract extension.

He said to the former Manchester United central defender:

"I’m on contract, I’m here, I’m enjoying myself,Everybody knows that I have one year left, I’m going to speak with the club, see what’s going on."

The player also said that he is keen on winning trophies with the Old Trafford outfit rather than winning laurels. Pogba believes that he is yet to bring his A-game for Manchester United.

"For now my goal, my objective is to win something, all I am thinking about is winning, to bring my energy, give my best to help the team. Is this the best Pogba for Man Utd? I hope not! I hope I can do even better.(Via: Goal)"

Manchester United lost their previous game against Sheffield United at Old Trafford in the Premier League. Sloppy defending and the inability to breakdown a resilient side cost the Red Devils three points in the midweek clash.

They sit second on the points table behind Manchester City, having played an extra game as well. They lock horns with Arsenal on Saturday at the Emirates and will look to continue their club-record unbeaten away run.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have looked like a different side whenever they have played an away game this season.

Does Paul Pogba deserve a contract extension? Or should he move to a different club in order to win the titles? Have your say below.
