After Brighton recalled Jakub Moder from his loan deal, West Ham United have also decided that Felipe Anderson needs to return from his loan spell at FC Porto.
According to reports, David Moyes and West Ham United are set to recall Felipe Anderson back from his loan spell, cutting short his time at FC Porto.
The Brazilian made the switch during the summer and agreed to a season-long loan deal. With the player unable to break into the first team at Porto as a regular, Hammers’ management thought it best to bring him back and find other solutions best suited for him and the club.
Following his return to London Stadium, it is said that the club is looking to offload Anderson in search of a new destination for the 27-year-old.
The transfer news thread read as below:
"Felipe Anderson could come back to West Ham from Porto loan. He’s not playing and #whufc are now considering to call him back and look for new solutions in the market this January(Via: Twitter)"

Since his move to the Liga NOS outfit, Felipe Anderson has featured a minimum of three times across all competitions.
He has not scored or assisted a single goal for Porto, finding it difficult to find his rhythm in the Portuguese top league. Not what the English club needs when wanting his value to rise before selling.
Manuel Pelligrini broke bank for the Brazilian back in 2018/19 where the club shelled out a fee of €38 million to bring in the player from Lazio on a permanent transfer.
The player led West Ham to a record 10th-placed finish with 13 G/A in the English Premier League. However, Anderson failed to replicate this form and struggled with injuries from time to time in his follow-up campaigns. This led to him being benched by David Moyes when he took over at the club from Pellegrini.
Pellegrini’s departure cast doom over the Brazilian forward’s future in West London. With the player not in Moyes’ plans, West Ham United sent him out on loan rather.
The club will look to send Felipe Anderson on loan again to another European club and cash in on him in the next transfer window.
