Christian Eriksen’s move away from the San Siro will be one of the most-watched transfers with PSG and a couple of Premier League clubs ready to battle it out for his signature.

Inter Milan have made their intentions clear regarding midfielder, Christian Eriksen. The Dane’s time in Italy has been one to forget, having not made an impact for Antonio Conte at all in his time at the club.

However, thanks to PSG appointing Mauricio Pochettino as the boss in Paris, it could offer Eriksen a career revival. The duo enjoyed a flourishing time together while in North London. It makes a lot of sense for them to reunite and experience a new football journey together.

With the January transfer window officially open and Poch announced as Thomas Tuchel’s successor, a Christian Eriksen transfer could progress quite quickly. Although, Paris Saint-Germain face stiff competition from around Europe for the playmaker.

The pair of English clubs being linked as possible suitors for Eriksen are Arsenal and West Ham United. They are looking to add a quality player with a creative mind to their starting XI – preferably a player who could walk into the starting lineup and make things happen instantly.

More from Transfers and Rumors

Nothing concrete has surfaced since Inter’s CEO Beppe Marotta transfer listed the player ahead Christmas but reports out of London believe Tottenham’s neighbouring rivals Arsenal are the front-runners for his signature.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta told Sky Sport:

"Yes, I can confirm that Christian Eriksen is on the transfer list. He’s going leave in January. He’s not functional to our plans and he had difficulty here at Inter. I think it’s right that Christian goes away to find more space. (Via: talksport.com)"

Since making his £16.9million switch from North London to Milan, the Dane has struggled for game time. This season he has only started four of the eight games he has played under Conte, having no goal contribution to Inter’s Serie A title push and their Champions League run.

Prior to that and straight after his switch, he managed a measly 17 domestic league features, scoring once and assisting a future two. A very underwhelming stat for one of the best creative midfielders in the Premier Leauge a couple of years back.

Comparing this to his time at Spurs, he made 226 Premier League appearances, scoring a whopping 51 goals and assisting a further 62. Was Christian Eriksen tailor-made for English top-flight football?
