Manchester City seal the deal for Filip Stevanovic from Partizan.
According to the official announcement from the Serbian outfit, FK Partizan, Manchester City have acquired the services of Filip Stevanovic in a deal worth €8 million including add-ons.
The player will be joining the “blue half of Manchester” in the upcoming winter transfer window. The 18-year-old winger has played three seasons with the FK Partizan senior side and his impressive performance came against Manchester United in a Europa League game.
After completion of the deal, FK Partizan Belgrade announced:
"Partizan is pleased to announce the transfer of Filip Stevanovic to Manchester City in the winter transition period of 2021. The transfer of Filip Stevanovic to one of the largest European clubs is a significant confirmation of the good and hard work of all club structures."

The winger was heavily linked with multiple European clubs and Manchester United had almost roped in the player. However, United spent their transfer budget on the likes of Donny van de Beek, Alex Telles and Edinson Cavani, which applied the brakes on the deal for the youngster.
The player broke into the Partizan senior outfit just two months prior to his 16th birthday in 2018. Since then the youngster hasn’t looked back and has put in some impressive performances.
For FK Partizan Belgrade, Filip Stevanovic has 39 appearances to his name in the Super Liga and has 11 goals in three seasons. In the current season, the Serbian international has started 10 games out of the 12 that Partizan has played.
He has three goals and two assists to his name so far this season. He has also been called up for his national U19 and U21s side during last season. The player has been often deployed as a left-winger but offers versatility in the midfield by playing as a right-winger and attacking midfielder for the team.
Manchester City have invested heavily in their youngsters. The players from the youth academy are given a chance to shine either with the senior team or with loan opportunities. Yan Couto and Pablo Moreno arrived in summer but were immediately sent on loan to Girona.
Juan Larios and Romeo Lavia are integrated with the U18s after being signed in the summer transfer window. The Cityzens might repeat the same tactic with Filip Stevanovic who has more experience compared to the other new signings.
