Juventus are planning a squad overhaul to match the vision of new manager Andrea Pirlo.

Arsenal received an inquiry for Hector Bellerin from Juventus as Mikel Arteta remains keen on selling the fullback this summer. Recently, the Spanish defender was offered to Paris Saint-Germain but nothing concrete has materialised from it.

Hector Bellerin, since his move from Barcelona in 2011, has shown glimpses of his abilities as a right-back from a raw age of 16. Sadly, the Spaniard has failed to establish himself as a defensive mainstay at Arsenal and the National squad due to persistent injury concerns.

Mikel Arteta is an admirer of Bellerin’s skill set and leadership traits. However, the Arsenal manager is not convinced of the former Barcelona defender’s sustainability in the long-term project. The club chiefs are eager to sanction a few sales to generate additional funds to add to their transfer kitty. Unfortunately, the long-serving right-back finds himself in that bracket.

It is understood that Hector Bellerin has been offered to Paris Saint-Germain, who are said to be contemplating whether to pursue the signing of the Spain international. Meanwhile, Juventus have made an inquiry for the 24-year-old as new coach Andrea Pirlo seeks a slew of signings to impart his vision on the Serie A champions.

Despite concrete interest in Bellerin, Juventus chiefs are reluctant to match the €30m valuation set by Arsenal. The Londoners reckon the price tag is justified for the player who has three years left on his contract.

More from Arsenal

"Andrea Pirlo had made a request to those above he needed a right-back, with Arsenal’s Hector Bellerín top of his list.ontacts had even been ‘initiated’ between the two clubs, but ‘there does not seem to be too many margins regarding any technical counterparts’ being inserted to lower the cash amount, but the ‘right offer can start’ talks. Arsenal have already made significant moves this summer, having lured Willian and Gabriel Magalhaes (awaiting official announcement). There are certain deals which are in the pipeline, understood to be Amadou Diawara of AS Roma and Houssem Aouar of Lyon.

There are a few high-profile exits on the cards, too. Alexandre Lacazette is keen to seek a new challenge with Atletico Madrid and Juventus offering an exit route from London. Midfielder Mateo Guendouzi, despite Mikel Arteta’s recent change of heart, faces an uncertain future at the club.

The Arsenal supporters are awaiting official confirmation on Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, who has had a positive round of dialogues over his contract extension with the club.
