Dutch sensation Donny van de Beek is looking for a new challenge in the Premier League.

According to reports, 23-year-old Donny van de Beek is looking to make a move to the English top flight despite him still being 100% committed to the Dutch side, Ajax.

Ajax finished first in the Dutch Eredivisie for the past two seasons and with the loss of Hakim Ziyech and Joël Veltman to Chelsea and Brighton respectively, van de Beek might see this as an opportunity to also challenge himself in a tougher league.

"It is understood Van de Beek will consider a move to the Premier League. but Ajax have yet to receive any formal offers from any club this summer. There is a preference for any deal to be completed before Ajax kick off their new season in the Dutch Eredivisie against Sparta Rotterdam on September 13.Van de Beek’s contract expires in June 2022. Ajax continues to be a team that produce young and talented players from their academy up to the first team. Based on van de Beek’s performances over the past three years, the midfielder has excelled becoming a permanent fixture in the Dutch sides starting XI.

The young  Dutchman will surely not have a shortage of offers on the table, however, he should make the correct decision in choosing who he will work under. Despite being talented and having the physique to compete in the Premier League, van de Beek needs to play regular football to better himself.

What can Donny van de Beek offer?

More from Premier League

Since the midfielder’s first-team call up in the 2015/2016 season, he has played 118 matches for the Ajax senior side scoring 28 goals and providing 23 assists while making 10 appearances for Netherlands national team as well.

Donny van de Beek can play in multiple positions across the midfield but is more comfortable as a pure central midfielder enabling him to roam free and create chances.

Van de Beek would fit perfectly into a team like Liverpool, Chelsea, or Manchester United, where they have some quick forwards giving options for key passes in the final third. It would be the perfect time for a team like Liverpool to pounce as Oxlade-Chamberlain continues to get injured at important periods.

Milner looks to give the Reds one or two more seasons, while Keita is also unpredictable when it comes to injuries. It is also believed that

Marko Grujić

is on his way out with Liverpool awaiting an offer in the region of £20 million.

Van de Beek is young and can give Liverpool another 10 years.  Under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp, he will surely shine in the Premier League.
