Liverpool has reportedly found an agreement with Bayern Munich midfielder, Thiago Alcantara.

It appears that it was always only a matter of time before this news broke the internet. However, all but confirmed, Liverpool could see their second incoming sorted out by the end of the Champions League tournament.

The story of how Thiago becomes a Red goes as follows… The player bade farewell to all of his Bayern teammates and has already confirmed he has a new house said to be on the shores of Merseyside, following the agreement reached between Liverpool and Thiago on a four-year contract with no funds publicised as of yet.

"Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara has reportedly said his goodbyes to his teammates after agreeing a four-year deal with Liverpool.According to RMC Sport, personal terms have been struck between Liverpool and Thiago on a four-year contract. He has also told his teammates he is moving to Anfield and even found a house ready for the switch to the Premier League champions. Subsequently, it was further stated his value is the only aspect his current employees and his potential new suitors must overcome before the deal can be declared. As expressed by the Germans time and time again, they want €30 million and no less.

Pulling in the opposite direction, the Reds are said to be reluctant to pay the asking price. Why? The Anfield outfit is always willing to play the waiting game. The club is well aware they can get him on a free next summer and would take the season-long delay and get him on a free rather.

Adding to this, it is said that no big additions will be added unless a first-team player decides to leave the club. Confusing reports coming from corners of England and Germany. This keeps the people guessing, yet, the Germans have accepted that their talisman and playmaker wants to embark on a new journey and that means the journey sends him on a trip to Merseyside.

Anfield is said to be a dream move of his and Klopp is a big admirer of him. Liverpool’s transfer committee along with Micheal Edwards have already started their business in the summer market. Two players from last season’s league-winning side have already left and a backup to Andrew Robertson has been brought in, in the shape of Kostas Tsimikas.

Wages have been freed up and space has been made. If things stay as is and no other team like Manchester City comes knocking (like they have already), trying to stir the pot, then we should see the transfer announced almost immediately after Bayern’s time in the Champions League.
