Arsenal making a late push for Manchester United target

With the transfer market operating in full force, manager Mikel Arteta has set out a clear business plan for the summer in a bid to make gradual steps back among the Premier League elites. Running on a tight budget, the Arsenal hierarchy has to come up with innovative financial deals to lure players to the Emirates Stadium.

In the report given by RMC Sport’s Mohamed Bouhafsi, there was an unknown English club beside Man United and Everton with an offer for Gabriel. As per suggestions, that mysterious proposal might well have been from Arsenal.

Regarding this development, there has been no concrete story from English media, who have touted Man City’s John Stones as a defensive priority. With the arrival of William Saliba, the need for defensive reinforcement might not be needed, after all.
Amid these developments, Arsenal have been trying a major coup of the summer by making an attempt to lure Chelsea winger Willian on a Bosman transfer. It could prove to be a huge boost considering the Brazilian’s calibre as a Premier League footballer.
